“You must stay drunk on writing so reality cannot destroy you.” ~Ray Bradbury
Welcome to Reader’s Boulevard, a website by a bibliophile, furry, anime otaku and geek for bibliophiles, furries, anime otakus and geeks.
Nathan Hopp is a young but avid reader, critic, and writer. Born in the Packer Capitol of Green Bay, WI, and currently attending a university across the state, he has been a dedicated bibliophile since grade school. Beginning in high school though, Nathan spent almost two whole years writing a novel he never finished, then went on to write short stories, a couple of novels and published book reviews in Teen Ink magazine. Ever since he was a kid, Nathan would be immersed in the works of various authors, from a science fiction novel one day to a young adult trilogy the next, or even a romance novel on Sunday morning. To him, reading and writing are as important to the world as the oxygen we breathe, as are every single book on the planet.
Despite Nathan’s best efforts, his list of favorite authors cannot be contained to just a significant few. However, among those include Evan Michael Martin (The Clio Boru series), Marie Lu (The Young Elites trilogy & Legend trilogy), Alex London (Proxy & Guardian), Sabaa Tahir (An Ember in the Ashes), etc.
He is also a big writer in the furry fandom, who usually goes under his fursona name Domus Vocis. As a member of said fandom, he read the works of favorite furry authors such as Kyell Gold, Rukis Croax, Ryan Campbell and countless more~!
Now enough about me, let’s talk about Reader’s Boulevard. Even though I’ve kept saying Feel free to leave comments on what you think of them, or even your opinions. If you want me to review a book or novel of yours, contact me in the Links page. I publish a review (or two) on Reader’s Boulevard on Tuesday mornings every two weeks, and maybe an editorial or Top 10 List here and there. Otherwise, keep on reading! 🙂
